Will Medicare pay for a Power Wheelchair?
Yes, If you qualify and meet the necessary requirements, Medicare will pay 80% of the total price of a power wheelchair and the other 20% Co-Insurance fee will be covered by any secondary or supplemental Insurance such as Medicaid, Blues Cross, etc.
Do I incur any Out of Pocket Expenses?
If you have Medicare or Medicaid and other supplemental/secondary insurance most times you don't incur any out of pocket expense. However if you don't Medicare/Medicaid and no supplemental insurance you might be liable for a 20% co-pay.
Do I pay for delivery?
No we offer free delivery for all our products.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes, to qualify for medical equipment, Medicare and other insurance companies require that you have a prescription prior to receiving your equipment. If you already have a physician this should not be a problem.
Do you work with Physicians?
Yes, we will work with your physician to obtain the necessary prescriptions and forms to better serve you.
Are your products under warranty?
Yes, all our products come with a full manufacturer's warranty, in addition to 1 year in home service contract (including parts and labor) on some of our medical equipments.
Will the power chair break down into section so that it can be transported in the transported in the trunk of a car?
Yes, some power chairs do break down into sections for easy transportation, however you have to be lift over 50lbs. Another option will be to purchase electric lift for your vehicle.
Do I have to assemble the power chair when it arrives?
No, Our products are delivered assembled, all we do is have you sign some paper works and educate Medicare Beneficiaries on how to safely operate your Powerchair.
How long will it take for my chair to equipment to arrive?
Upon verifying Medicare eligibility and receiving all the necessary documents from your Physician, you will receive your chair within 4 to 7 business days. All Equipments purchased ships the next day upon receiving your full payment. If any of the products are not in stock we will inform you of the arrival date, which will not exceed 4 business days.
What I'm not covered under my insurance or do not qualify for Medicare or other insurance?
No problem, we offer a great finance program that fits every budget. We also offer savings on all our products that beats any price in the market.
Can I Rent a Power chair/Scooter?
Yes, we offer rental option and rent tobuy option on all our products. This option is also available for Medicare recipients.
Are Power chairs specified for various weight classes?
Yes, our power chairs are designed to accommodate different weight classes up to 700lbs.
